2.2 Installing a Backplane

The IPC-644 supports a 4-slot PCI or 4-slot ISA backplane. Please refer

to Figure 2.2 to install a backplane.

1. Remove chassis cover.

2. Get the EMI spring plate from the accessory box. Attach it to the

backplane.

3. Align the backplane to the screw holes in the chassis and then fas-

ten it with the four screws supplied.

4. Connect the 20-pin ATX power connector from the power supply to

the backplane.
