2.2.7 Power Management Setup

! PCI Express PM Function

This allows you to enable or disable system wake up via PCI Express PME

(Power Management Event).

! Power-Supply Type [ATX]

This item allows user to set power-supply type, ATX or AT mode.

! ACPI Function [Enabled]

This item defines the ACPI (Advanced Configuration and Power Management)

feature that makes hardware status information available to the operating sys-

tem, and communicate PC and system devices for improving the power man-

agement.

! ACPI Suspend Type [S3 (STR)]

This item allows user to select sleep state when suspend.

! Run VGA BIOS if S3 Resume [Auto]

This item allows system to reinitialize VGA BIOS after system resume from

ACPI S3 mode.

Note! Use this "Power Management Setup" screen to configure the system for

most effective power management while still operating in a manner con-

sistent with intended computer use.

S1(POS) The suspend mode is equivalent to a software power down;

S3(STR) The system shuts down with the exception of a refresh current to

the system memory.
